When Comic Con San Diego the 9 to 12 July, Joss Whedon announced the & rsquo; one of his new projects unpublished. It s & rsquo; d is & rsquo; a new Comics title “Twist” and will be published in Dark Horse Comics.

When d & rsquo; an interview Entertainment Weekly, Joss gives us a little more & rsquo; information on this story : Twist c’est un “thriller set in & rsquo; Victorian era and is centered on a modest woman of thrown as food to a room dark force. But instead of dying, the young woman resurfaced with knowledge, strength and rage that & rsquo; it can neither deny nor control.”

The comics will be borrowing & rsquo; a large key Steampunk but also darker themes concerning policy, social status or feminism. The recurring themes in the work of Joss Whedon.

Reminder, Joss has already conducted a series of Comics as Astonishing X-Men in 2004, The Fugitives (Runaways) in 2005 or the result of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly et Angel. But it s & rsquo; these are his first unpublished comics not attached to a world already created earlier.

Twist will be composed of 6 episodes that n & rsquo; have currently no release date, Official or illustrator. Julian Totino Tedesco illustrated the cover shown at Comic Con (you will find below) but it will not be the & rsquo; Series illustrator. The logo has meanwhile been created by Nate Piekos, by Blambot.
